Stubborn Taurus lives for routine while open-minded Sagittarius craves adventure. These signs are so different that finding any common ground to build a relationship on will be a challenge.
Sun in Taurus knows what he likes and likes what he knows. What makes him Mr. Dependable in a relationship also makes him stubborn. You won’t find a better provider, protector or loyal lover. Once Sun in Taurus settles on a partner (this might take a while because he’s so cautious) it’s a done deal. But his partner will also have to deal with a dogged insistence on routine and simplicity. His conscious will is focused on comfort and survival, with all the basics that these concepts entail. And for Taurus, comfort and survival mean finding something (or someone) that works and not changing a thing.
Moon in Sagittarius needs to explore. Bring on the unknown, the exotic, the strange. She feels safest when she has options, and one of these options might be commitment. Or not. Her partner must understand that even in the happiest relationship, Moon in Sagittarius will always entertain the idea that she can leave (even if she has no desire to). If she feels like her independence is threatened, this mellow, optimistic Moon will become restless and bossy. Obviously, an independent partner suits her best. And it helps if he feeds her need for new by joining her when she explores different foods, places, ideas, books, movies, games, and so on.
This is a tough combination. Taurus will not enjoy having his routine challenged by Moon in Sagittarius’ need for variety. And Sagittarius will feel stifled by Taurus’ insistence on predictability. There will have to be serious magnetic aspects between their other planets to keep them together. If they do stay together, they’ll need to make a major effort to accommodate each other. Taurus will need to back off and give Moon in Sagittarius her freedom. Sagittarius will have to respect Taurus’ routines while she indulges her need for adventure elsewhere. But if they are both happy, these signs will share a relaxed attitude that can make for a surprisingly easy-going relationship.
